Your donation supports the work of Inserm researchers, who are dedicated to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the field of health and its application for the benefit of patients. These scientists carry out fundamental, translational (linking laboratory work to patient illness), clinical and epidemiological research to better understand, prevent and treat disease, and thus improve the quality of life for everyone.

Every donation makes a difference to science. Whether it’s a one-off support or a monthly commitment, it helps fund innovative projects and respond to essential and urgent issues.

Your benefits

  • Impôt sur le Revenu (IR) -Your donation to the Inserm Foundation entitles you to a tax reduction of 66% of the amount, up to a limit of 20% of your taxable income. Your donation meets the general conditions set out in Articles 200 and 238 of the French General Tax Code.
  • Impôt sur la Fortune Immobilière (IFI) – By contributing to medical research, you can deduct 75% of the amount of your donation from your IFI, up to €50,000 per year.

Your tax receipt

  • Whatever the amount of your donation and your tax status, you will receive a tax receipt a few days after your donation. This receipt does not need to be attached to your tax return, but should be kept for 3 years in case of a tax audit.
  • If you have opted for direct debit, you will receive a tax receipt for all your annual donations in February of the following year.
  • Your contact details are essential for us to send you your tax receipt and benefit from the tax reduction. We use them for management purposes, but never sell or rent them. In accordance with the law, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, limit, port and oppose your personal data.
